There was a lady that lived in a house with 32 children. Things were pretty raucus around the house most of the time, but life was good.
Slowly they grew up and moved out. College, weddings, the military, helping them get started was oh so exciting, but - as it turns out - oh so expensive (who knew?).
This woman hadn't had a career, but soon saw the handwriting on the wall. Now that the kids were gone (mostly), and the price of launching them into their new lives was catching up with her, she decided to do what any nearly-sane person - who has done this sort of thing all her life - embarked on a new adventure
Her wise and brilliant Info Tech guy saw an opportunity to help his client get what she needed, and saw a bigger picture too...
Sure, she could service lots of people in her 'outer-circle' (friends, acquaintances, friends-of-friends, etc.), but the World Wide Web can be seen around the world - not just in the couple-of-zip-codes she was going to service.
And so the concierge service was born
Earth Publish is an organization that is helping the world in a couple of ways.
Earth is a reference to 'saving the planet' through intelligent and efficient use of resources, minimizing generation of byproducts, and reducing carbon emissions.
Publish is a reference to providing an avenue for writers to get their works to the public, helping to discover the unlikely literary genius.
Earth Publish combines both of these concepts, allowing people of the whole earth to share their works with a much broader audience and yet remain earth-friendly at the same time.
Critiqual Mass is a company that is riding the wave of the future, catering to mobile users of the web.
The Critiqual Mass web site uses a revolutionary design that ensures their site is available no matter what type of device you come in from.
Desktop users will find a robust, well designed, fully functional site that allows its users to rate restaurants and find restaurants based on a variety of criteria.
Hand Held (cell, PDA, etc.) users with smaller screens are able to find much of the same features and functions, but optimized for the smaller screens available on these devices.
All of these are accomplished on a single set of web pages, ensuring that any updates, and fixes, are reflected on all platforms.
Document processing, storage, and retrieval is a slowly making its way to the web, and with some serious analysis and design can make any organization more efficient and productive than ever.
Does your organization "touch" a piece of paper more than once between the time it comes in the door until it is filed-away for reference?
This company specializes in document services, and not just the storage and retrieval, but in actual processing as well. Faxes arrive in an electronic format, but you would be surprised how many people print, process, scan, then file that document before being done with it - usually by different people each step of the way.
With our extensive analysis and expert design, we have been able to cut down the number of times several documents were handled to just once.
Cup Couture is a Seattle-based company with a New York connection in the high-fashion industry.
Cup Couture marries fashion with the high-end coffee crowd with a cup sleeve that both protects your fingers, and makes a statement.
A static website was perfect when this company stared - they didn't have too many products, and they did not change all that often, but as time went on and their stable of products grew - dynamic is what saved them.
We brought their website up to the task of managing a great number of unique, interesting products - able to support a growing team of associates.
Precision Administrators is a business that administers cafeteria-plans for a large customer base. They offer consolidated-billing, daily payment of HCR (health-care reimbursement) and DCR (dependent-care reimbursement) claims, and other tax-advantaged instruments.
Pix was conceived by an individual that has a web-enabled cell phone, but not much memory.
This person loves to take pictures on his cell phone, but - since he doesn't have enough memory to keep them stored on his phone - he needed a way to store those pictures quickly and easily, and still have access to them later, both from his cell phone, and his desk-top.
With some analysis from Turner Softwares, we helped him develop this site to also make his pictures available to his friends and family - but still gave him control over which pictures to share.
Since this interface uses a file structure rather than a back-end database, its development was quick, easy, and inexpensive.
Album is a relatively static, but highly stylized site that allowed one of our customers to showcase their wedding ceremony in the format of a traditional wedding album.
This formal presentation is easy enough to navigate even by their not-so-web-savvy aunts and uncles, and shows the clean lines and elegant design that does not compete with the photos.
If you have ever composed a wedding album from the reams of photos provided by a professional photographer, then you know how much work these people put into their site.
The effort here was all in the photo selection and placement, while we were able to provide them with the perfect showcase to house the memories.
One of our clients is the Oklahoma Orchid Society. They give a show twice a year allowing their members to showcase their flowers, and sell them to their adoring public.
The Oklahoma Orchid Society needed a way to quickly transfer their photos to the web and allow the pages to load quickly, but to give people the ability to download a full-sized printable photo as well.
With the varried talents of our staff, and therfore the knowledge of how pictures are stored, we were able to show the website as a series of camera-created thumbnails to show the pictures quickly, and be able to download the full picture for printing. Since these pictures were taken with cameras having seven to twelve megapixels, the full-size pictures are quite suitable for print.
